I have been working in the steel construction industry for almost 30 years, specialising in racking, shelving, and warehouse systems.

After 25 years in technical leadership at Nedcon, I founded Ingenieursbureau Connection B.V to provide practical, reliable, and well-founded engineering solutions. Today, I work together with a small team of experienced engineers, combining practical engineering, structural testing, and software development to support clients throughout the industry.

Over the years, I have worked with virtually every calculation method used in the racking industry, designed and built dedicated structural test facilities, and developed specialised engineering software that combines technical expertise with modern digital tools.

I am also active in several European standardisation committees and collaborate closely with the FEM industry organisation. I contributed to the development of the latest European standard for racking systems and continue to help shape best practices within our field.
